***Read entirety of installation instructions before attempting //GRIP 001 installation***

**You //GRIP 001 vial comes with 2 parts, a "fitment piece" - used for trial installation (will function in pistol!), and the official //GRIP 001 part.
* The "fitment piece" is made with a glow-in-the-dark polymer for easy identification.

Firearm Safety Rules:
1.       Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
2.       Never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy.
3.       Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you are ready to shoot.
4.       Be sure of your target — and what is beyond it. 

Phase I – Remove Slide
1.       Remove slide from grip/frame in accordance with your manufacturer instructions.
2.       Ensure hammer is de-cocked after removing slide.

Phase 2 – Expose Grip Safety Teeth & Hammer Strut
1.       Using a punch & hammer, remove the Mainspring House Pin
2.       Remove any magwell that will preclude the Mainspring Housing from sliding down.
3.       Invert the pistol grip/frame so the magwell is pointed upwards.
4.       Calk the hammer to expose the Hammer Strut, *DO NOT continue removing the Mainspring Housing past the position it comes to by calking the hammer* 

Phase 3 – Install //Grip 001
1.       Put inward pressure on the Grip Safety.
2.       With the COLORED half of the Grip 001 part facing up towards the magwell opening, insert onto the Grip Safety. Do not over-insert to the point where the hammer strut shifts.
3.       Push the Grip 001 inward, making sure that it is flat on the Grip Safety 

Phase 4 – Secure Grip 001
1.       Rest your dominant hand pinky finger on the trigger
2.       Apply downward pressure to the Mainspring Housing
3.       Maintaining downward pressure on the Mainspring Housing, press the trigger
4.       *If you Mainspring Housing does not fully seat, lightly tap the Grip 001 part inward with a punch of knife, continue putting downward pressure on the Mainspring Housing.
5.       Once the Mainspring Housing is fully seated, reinstall magwell, then reinstall Mainspring Housing Pin. 

Phase 5 – Function Test
1.       Before reinstalling slide, perform a function test: Perform 3 times
a.       Calk hammer
b.       Keep hands off Grip Safety
c.       Pull Trigger
2.       Reinstall Slide
3.       Perform Dry-Fire Function Test *UNLOADEDFIREARM*: Perform 3 times
a.       Rack Slide
b.       Engage, then disengage manual safety
c.       Pull trigger 

Phase 6 – Live-Fire Function Test
1.       Our recommended test is the “Bill Drill”
a.       7 yards from USPSA style target
b.       Drawing from holster
c.       Fire 6 shots as quickly as possible into the A-Zone
2.       Mad Science Standards
a.       Sub-2 second times with all hits in the A-zone(elite performance)
b.       2-2.5 seconds is solid for experienced shooters
c.       3+ seconds is expected for newer or intermediate shooters

//GRIP 001 INSTALL PICTURE WALK-THROUGH

Phase I – Remove Slide

2.       Reinstall Slide
